johnson cherry tree

When the Johnson family moved into their new home, they discovered a cherry tree in their yard that had fallen and died. Recognizing the potential of this natural resource, they brought the lumber to me, seeking to transform it into something beautiful and functional. Together, we collaborated to design a bespoke coffee table and multiple shelves. This project was more than just woodworking; it was about honoring the life of the tree and giving it a new purpose within their home. The transformation of the tree from the backyard to cherished home furnishings in the family room stands as a testament to the value of bespoke craftsmanship and the meaningful stories that such projects can tell.
